 Lee Thomas Snook, Jr.

 

MD, FACP, DABPM, FASAM

 

Lee Thomas Snook, Jr., MD, FACP, DABPM, FASAM is President and Founder of Metropolitan Pain Management Consultants, a Medical Group, Inc., Sacramento, California. He is a Faculty Instructor with the International Spine Intervention Society. Dr. Snook is board certified in internal medicine, in anesthesiology with added qualifications in pain management, in pain medicine, and in addiction medicine.

 After earning his medical degree from the University of Nevada, School of Medicine, Reno, Dr. Snook completed an internal medicine internship and an anesthesiology residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Madison.

 Dr. Snook is an expert on a wide range of pain management topics, including the pathophysiology of chronic pain, pain management and end-of-life care, and state-of-the-art treatment of chronic pain.

 Dr. Snook is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Practice Management, the American Medical Association, the American Pain Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation, the International Spine Intervention Society, the International Anesthesia Research Society, the North American Spine Society and the California Medical Association.
